North American Truck Show Announces New Location
and Show Hours for 2005
Boston, Mass, October 18, 2004 - The 2005 North American Truck Show will be held at the new Boston Convention and Exposition Center (BCEC) on April 28, 29 and 30. "Big rigs" can park for free and admission to the event is also free. Tickets are available online at www.truckingexpo.com or by calling 800-225-1577.
The largest exhibition center in the Northeast, the 1.6 million square foot BCEC is located in the heart of Boston on 415 Summer Street and features easy access to 25 acres of paved, on-site car and truck parking. The facility, which offers picturesque views of the city skyline and Boston Harbor, is in close proximity to 35,000 hotel rooms and is only ten minutes from Boston's Logan International Airport and steps away from rapid transit lines. In keeping with Boston's reputation as "America's Walking City," visitors to the area will be close to Faneuil Hall and other downtown attractions.
"We are excited about the BCEC because it was designed by exhibitors for exhibitors," notes Greg Coughlin, show director for the North American Truck Show. "The hall features a contiguous, nearly column free layout which makes it very easy to showcase a wide variety of products and services. The BCEC also features an innovative ring road which encircles the facility and separates commercial from public traffic ? so everyone from local attendees to international exhibitors will have easy access to our show."
The show floor will be open to all attendees during the following hours:
- Thursday, April 28 - 2 pm to 9 pm
- Friday, April 29 - 2 pm to 9 pm
- Saturday, April 30 - 10 am to 4 pm
2005 show highlights include:
- Stars and Stripes Truck Show Event
- "Expedited Trucking" resources and information (offered by ExpressTrucking.com)
- Ol' Blue USA Safety Center
